moving on

so here's the deal. Some time back in September, as the twelve month mark approached, I mulled over what to do with this blog.

I've finally made a decision. It's time to move on. The links on the side of the page now show a link to my new (general) blog. There will be no links from that blog to this - so you can move forward, but without a backwards glance ;)

This blog will remain for anytime I need to mutter about my ex. The new blog will be ex-free - at least other than as passing context. He was, after all, 11 years of my life and I can't rewrite history. But it won't be about, or to do with, him or my relationship with him.

If I think how I was feeling this time last year - it is almost like I was another person. I know there is research about cell renewal that says that I am, at least partically, literally and physically a different person. But I am also the sum of my history - so I am the same person as well, just twelve months on.

My expectation is that posts here should be an increasing rarity.
